UEA in Green River

These are are pictures of our 2 nights and 1 day on the San Rafael Swell in central Utah.  It was suppose to be a 3 day, 3 night trip, but Jane and Will were sick, so we only spent 2 long and miserable nights at Green River State Park.  We did have one good day of hiking though that almost made the trip worth it.

At the campground with the Green River in the background.  It was a beautiful campground on a golf course with all grass and no dirt.  We'll definitely be going back sometime in the near future.

Thanks to mom and dad for letting us use their trailer.  The heater was the one saving grace as we spent both nights up all night.

 Goblin Valley

The kids thought that this looked like the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter

It looks like Jane is on another planet.

Will loved it even though he was hiking sick.

There are some great slot canyons close to Goblin Valley.   Unfortunately, we were only able to hike one part of one slot canyon.

This was taken from the general store of an old ghost town.  It had a really spooky old cemetery too.
